TOWN OF MENASHA: Red Oak Ravine Stream Restoration

Purpose

To Cost-share streambank protection and sediment reduction practices within Red Oak Ravine while assisting the Town of Menasha & the City of Appleton in meeting the requirements of their respective Municipal Stormwater Permits and remedy discharges of sediment and total suspended solids entering waters of the state.

This project is an installation of nonpoint source best management practices to contribute to the restoration of Wisconsin�s waters and was funded by the 319 grant. Specifically, the grantee will cost-share streambank protection and sediment reduction practices within Red Oak Ravine while assisting the Town of Menasha & the City of Appleton in meeting the requirements of their respective Municipal Stormwater Permits and remedy discharges of sediment and total suspended solids.
