CALUMET COUNTY: Meyer Farms Waste Storage

Purpose

To cost-share installation of animal waste storage systems to prevent groundwater contamination from agricultural runoff containing nutrients, bacteria and other pathogenic organisms and to address violations of the NR 151 Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions relating to: manure storage facilities-new, process wastewater handling, and prevention of overflow from manure storage facilities.
