Lakes Planning Report

Price County proposes to begin the process for a county-wide land use planning effort. Project activities will include holding public meetings to gather public input and present the goals of the project, developing a shoreland property owners lake protection newsletter, creating a lake data and shoreland use library, creating a number of county water resource maps, and creating an Internet web site containing the results and resources of the project. The project will establish the necessary information groundwork for the actual land use plan to follow. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report.
