This project promotes nonpoint source best management practices to contribute to the restoration of Wisconsin�s waters and was funded by the 319 grant. Specifically, the grantee will cost share updates to the town's storm water management plan, including new modeling taking into consideration the anticipated Wisconsin River TMDL wasteload allocations and recent DNR guidance and policy changes, infiltration testing, and development of a list of BMPs to be constructed, with cost estimates. The town will also explore the creation of a storm water utility through a two-phase project consisting of a feasibility study and an implementation plan. The project will include ample opportunity for public participation and education.
