CLARK COUNTY LAND CONSERVATION DEPT: Nerdrum Non-Point Project

Purpose

to cost-share installation of manure management systems to prevent contamination from agricultural runoff containing nutrients, bacteria and other pathogenic organisms and to address violations of the NR 151 Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions relating to: manure storage facilities-new/significant alterations, manure storage facilities-closure, process waste handling, nutrient management, prevention of overflow from manure storage facilities, and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state, per the TRM Grant Program Small-Scale Agricultural Application titled Nerdrum Nonpoint Project and submitted in 2013.

This project is a landowner installation of nonpoint source best management practices to contribute to the restoration of Wisconsin�s waters and was funded by the 319 grant.
