WISCONSIN ASSOCIATION OF LAKES, INC.: LCO-WAL, Inc., - Ordinance Development

Purpose

Wisconsin Association of Lakes, Inc., proposes to provide a comprehensive program to assist lake management organizations carry out activities aimed at water quality and recreational value of lakes. The specific activities will include (a) research and writing of "A Guide to Wisconsin's Lake Management Law", (b) research and writing of a publication on pier and mooring regulations, (c) research, focus group discussions with prospective user groups and with state representatives of state and local agencies involved in regulation of septic systems, preparation of published material and training of local lake managers, and (d) publication and distribution of the above mentioned material. The scope is expanded to include research and creation of a publication of pier and mooring regulations.
