DANE COUNTY: ACQ-Wheeler Property Acquisition

Purpose

Dane County will purchase 20 acres fee acquisition of wetlands (The Wheeler Property) in the Town of Dunn along the Door Creek Wetlands in order to preserve wildlife habitat and water quality. A full description of the project scope and project deliverables is available in the grant application, which is a part of this agreement. The DNR will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. Information will be disseminated to the public as described in the grant appllication.
