Dane County will acquire approximately a 1/2 acre of land located on the west shore of Fish Lake in the Town of Roxbury, Dane County. The acquisition will permanently protect 73 feet of shoreline and fishery ecosystem for wildlife and scenic beauty, remove another residential property from an ongoing flooding threat at Fish Lake and integrate this parcel with other County-owned parcels. Eligible costs include acquisition of the parcels, appraisal fees and preparation of an environmental assessment.
