Wendt and Halfway Prairie 303d Evaluation

Purpose

Wendt Creek WBIC:1248900. SWIMS Stations: 10014471, 10012609. Halfway Prairie Creek WBIC: 1248800. SWIMS Stations: 10014226, 10014473. Unmuth will summarize fish, habitat, macroinvertebrate and water chemistry data collected in 2007 for a TMDL monitoring effort. Habitat findings will be related to fish and macroinvertebrate findings.

Objective

Both streams are impaired with sediment as the pollutant. The streams were part of the Black Earth Creek Priority watershed (1968-1998). Significant resources were allocated towards sediment reduction (Sorge 2007). Data was collected, and entered into SWIMS & FH Databases. Data will be summarized and a final report will be written

Outcome

1) Number of sample sites associated with the project = 0 Number of sampling events associated with project=0. 3) Estimated date when sample collection will be complete=NA 4. ) Estimated date when all data will be entered into appropriate database=completed 5) Estimated date when final report will be complete=March 2012.
