CITY OF MONONA: Monona Storm Water Mgmt Plan

Purpose

to cost share development of a comprehensive storm water management plan, including updates to modeling, inventory, ordinances, financial information, storm water utility rates, and development of public education and outreach activities. The new plan will help the city meet requirements of the Yahara and Rock River TMDLs, per the UNPS & SW Program Planning Grant Application titled Monona Storm Water Management Plan and submitted in 2013.

This project is an installation of nonpoint source best management practices to contribute to the restoration of Wisconsin's waters and was funded by the 319 grant. Specifically, the grantee will cost share development of a comprehensive storm water management plan, including updates to modeling, inventory, ordinances, financial information, storm water utility rates, and development of public education and outreach activities. The new plan will help the city meet requirements of the Yahara and Rock River TMDLs.
