Special Conditions: 1) Space between rip-rap to be filled with soil and vegetated to facilitate successful access of turtle hatchlings to water. Project deliverables include: 1. Copies of any fact sheets or handouts created for public hearings. 2. A summary of the comments received at public hearings. 3. Special Conditions: 1) Lupine seed to be wild for compatibility with Karner Blues. 2) Soil to be filled in between rip-rap to facilitate turtle hatchlings access to water. 3) Permits to be secured by individual property owners prior to construction.

Project activities will include the location and diagramming of structures within 75 feet of the ordinary highway mark, follow-up questionnaires, file review and the development of a public education on the importance of the shoreline protection ordinance.

Parker Lake Assoc., Inc.: Hlk-Parker Lake Fish Sticks: Parker Lake Association Inc. will implement best practices described in Wisconsin\2019s 2014-2017 Healthy Lakes Implementation Plan. Practices include: Installation of 8 fish stick clusters on the shoreline of Parker Lake.
The best practices require a contract to remain in effect for 10 years and must include minimum operation and maintenance requirements and data collection as described in grant condition #17. If best practice(s) are implemented on land owned by the grant Sponsor, this Lake Protection Grant Agreement serves as the contract. If best practice(s) are implemented on land other than the sponsor\2019s, a contract between the sponsor and landowner that abides by grant condition #16 is required.
The Department may require re-payment of project installation costs if the best practice is disturbed or removed. The Sponsor and/or the Department may perform site inspections and/or monitoring to ensure project success.
Deliverables: Best practice location and design information, if not included in the application; signed 10-year landowner contract; pre and post project installation photographs; summary of education activities and publicity/promotion of Healthy Lakes initiative, if applicable.
Special conditions: The state share of each best practice cannot exceed $1,000. The state share of grant administration and technical assistance costs may not exceed 10% of the grant award; technical assistance does not include implementation labor. Funding cannot be used for mitigation or regulatory compliance activities. Water regulation and/or county zoning permits must be issued before construction. The Healthy Lakes logo should be used for promotion and publicity, and DNR recognized as a funding source.

The models being used in applying the methodology on Petenwell Flowage include: 1) the Flux Reservoir loading Model, 2) Profile Model, 3) Bathtub Model. Implementation of this plan will provide information on the following: 1) water/nutrient budget for the Petenwell Flowage, 2) sources of nutrients, 3) effects of nutrient reduction, and 4) prediction of the total maximum daily loads necessary to reach desired target nutrient levels. Project deliverables include: 1. Copies of any fact sheets or handouts created for public hearings. 2. A summary of the comments received at public hearings. 3. A certified copy of the County Board-approved updated shoreland ordinance or ordinance language (if integrated into other codes). 4. Any GIS maps of the shoreland zone or shoreland condition surveys related to the project.

Specific conditions for this Project: The WDNR will be provided electronic and hard copies of all data and or reports or surveys generated as a result of this project.

Land and Water Resources Dept. proposes to fund a position to facilitate enhancements in the organizational development of Petenwell and Castle Rock Stewards (PACRS), a group formed in 2007 to address water quality, habitat and species diversity concerns within the Petenwell and Castle Rock Flowages in Juneau and Adams Counties. Major project elements to include: 1) outreach to organizations and businesses, 2) development of articles of incorporation and by-laws, 3) securing 501(c)3 certification from the IRS.

Sauk Prairie River Projects Assoc. Ltd: Lower Wisconsin River-Fisheries Education Project: The primary goal of this project is to produce and distribute an educational poster about the unusual and rare nongame fish species found in various Lower Wisconsin River sloughs. Information collected from the sampling conducted in backwater sloughs (see RP-141-08) will be incorporated into the final poster and widely distributed.

Please note: Final report deliverables help us ensure that the grant has been satisfactorily completed, and that state dollars are being spent wisely. Every deliverable, no matter how minor, must be completed in order to receive full reimbursement for the state share of costs. Ranking questions used to obtain this award, and specific deliverables mentioned in your grant description, constitute final report deliverables. If any deliverable is not adequately provided in the final report, only partial reimbursement, at the department's discretion, will be made. The only exception will be if there is a well-justified and department-approved scope amendment. Friends Of The Necedah National Wildlife Ref: Rr - Restoration Of The West Branch Of The Little Yellow River: The Friends of the Necedah Wildlife Refuge will work with the USFWS, to restore 1.5 miles of the West Branch of the Little Yellow River in Juneau County.

Project final deliverables include: 1) Restore the natural stream channel from the current artificial ditched network, 2) Increase connectivity between the river and floodplain, 3) Improve connectivity of the river for fish and wildlife, 4) install 5 ditch plugs and 5) supply DNR with aerial photos and presentation materials.

Specific project activities include: 1) continue the efforts from previous restoration projects, 2) complete all surveying, planning, permitting requirements, 3) Continue WAV protocols with the Necedah Charter School, 4) track groundwater inputs/movements, and 5) assess biological integrity via DNR IBI protocols.

Special Conditions: Allow for a tour of the project area for DNR personnel and maintain records of WAV activities for future reference. Any appropriate data collected to be uploaded to SWIMS.
